The COMO 2 Series fully insulated garden home office is a little gem of a room (2.4m x 2.4m)  that combines contemporary styling and colours, maintenance-free ownership and a ‘peace of mind’  20 year guarantee.

The building is supplied with full instructions, video help and the tools to build it for the typical DIY’er. However if you don’t fancy doing it yourself we can provide an installation service for you (mainland UK). A suitable pre-prepared base will be required.

We offer a fantastic timer base service that sits on rot-proof adjustable steel pads, requiring no excavation and can sit on either lawn or other surfaces. If you want to create the base yourself, you can order the adjustable heavy duty kit and the instructions/ drawings.

The  COMO 2 Series is our most popular garden home office and will suit any garden due to it’s compact size and comes fully insulated

The building package comes as standard with double-glazed opening windows and doors. A inner and outer steel wall allows a cavity for the supplied insulation and any wiring. An insulated roof also comes as standard as does a moisture-resistant chipboard floor and joists and multi-layer foil insulation blanket under the floor

What Do I Need?

  1. A solid and level base for the building to to be fixed to LEARN MORE
  2. Battery Drill for driving the self-tapping screws into the pre-drilled holes (drill driver bits are supplied)
  3. Tape Measure for ensuring the building is square
  4. Spirit Level for checking the sides are plumb
  5. Hand/ Circular Saw to cut supplied flooring and joists

Note 1 – 20 year corrosion warranty providing metal hasn’t been damaged

Note 2 – We recommend the exterior is occasionally washed and rinsed with a car body shampoo to remove debris and keep the lustre of the paintwork

Note 3 – The COMO 2, 3 and 4 are 2.19m high. The COMO 5 is 2.6m high and as such must be placed 2m away from the boundary to fall within permitted development

Basic Configuration

Contractor building all-metal, galvanised inner steel wall frame of a garden room in Wiltshire

All Metal Construction

The COMO is constructed with a hot dipped galvanised inner steel frame to allow the outer and inner powder coated wall panels to be fixed. All gutter, roof and trim are also in hot dipped galvanised powder coated steel

Insulated Steel Roof

The roof is constructed of 40mm insulated steel sandwich panels. The top and underside of the panels are in white

Double Glazed Windows And Doors

Our windows and doors are constructed with powder coated aluminium in anthracite grey. The glass is heat tempered double glazed units. The cylinder door lock comes with three keys and the windows are hinged from the bottom and open inwards

Internal Walls

The inside of the COMO is finished in light grey panels with anthracite door and window trim. The corners have a light grey trim piece that completes the clean look

Insulation For All Year Use

The buildings comes with 50mm foil faced PIR insulated sheets that fitted between the steel frame walls. The floor has a quilted multi-layer foil blanket that provides 150mm equivalent rock wool insulation. The roof is 40mm PIR insulated steel sandwiched panels

Integral Gutter and Downpipe

The building comes with eaves that overhang 15cm at the front and 10cm on the sides and rear. The gutter is integrated into the rear eaves. A black PVC down pipe takes the rainwater to the ground

The Eleganto moisture-resistant chipboard floor supplied as standard.

Chipboard Floor

The floor consists of 18mm moisture resistant chipboard sheets that sit on 50mm treated battens. The battens sit on the quilted multi layer foil blanket which provides a thermal barrier and a softer under foot experience

Easy Electrical Services Access

The construction of the walls allows for electrical cables to be run around the foot of the wall panels and then early fed up through the 2cm cavity on each side of the insulation, The electrical cables can the be fed through drilled holes in surface mounted electrical boxes on the inside and external wall lights on the outside. Lighting tracks and trunking running to surface mounted lights can be run on the underside of the ceiling.
